The Constitution and

The Bill of Rights

"We have staked the whole future of our new nation,
not upon the power of government; far from it. We have staked the
future of all our political constitutions upon the capacity of each of
ourselves to govern ourselves according to the moral principles of the
Ten Commandments."

James Madison, principal author of the Constitution for the united States of America

Some people might find it strange to see a page dedicated to the Constitution and Bill of Rights on a website that calls itself Fulfilling Torah. What does fulfilling Torah have to do with the Constitution for the united States of America?

We believe that the founding fathers of this nation, this experiment in self-government, created a nation based on the Covenant YHWH made with Israel. The Constitution, while creating a political entity, is not primarily a political document, but a religious document. In fact, we consider the Constitution for the united States of America to be the nearest thing to inspired scripture ever to be devised solely by the minds of men, and that it is that way because it is based entirely on the Law of YHWH as given to Moshe and Yisrael on Mt. Sinai in Arabia. We hope you enjoy these articles.
